Volume 1, Issue 3 & 4 Spring/Summer 1996

You are twisted bastard

Welcome back! After a too-long hiatus, we're back on track. You'll notice from the issue number under the banner, we're playing catch-up (and cheating). However, we're going on the same logic that allows some software companies to go directly from version 2 to version 4 of a piece of software "because it's so much more advanced than the previous one". We've done some improvements to the site. First, we've got this nifty real asphalt background to replace the older flat grey one, and we're giving you larger pictures, responding to readership demand for bigger, badder, and bloodier. All colour pictures are now JPEG to facilitate faster downloading, and we're using low-res preview gifs in high-tech Splat-O-Vision™, which gives you a rough idea of what you're downloading. Oh, by the way, we're on a new server now, with a slightly different directory address, so don't forget to tell your friends and update your links.

We are officially sponsored now, by Puddle Jumpers, Inc., who make what may just be the tastiest Barbecue sauce I have ever tried. This is no joke! Hit the ad, order some, and try it out! You might try it as a garnish to the recipie for roast beaver on our renewed recipe page.

We're still selling T-shirts! Sales haven't been what you'd call brisk, but kudos to our first customer, Frank McEwen, from down under in Australia, for taking the leap of faith and becoming our first international customer. If you'd like to mail him, and check to see if we're legit, he's given us permission to use his email address. Just click the appropriate button on the T-shirt offer page.

Oh, one last thing. One of our most popular pages, backsplash, is not available, as we're adapting to the new server's way of dealing with CGI. (actually we're too cheap to buy the @#!!%'ing manual; does anyone out there use Website 1.1? -Alman). It'll be back up soon.

Well, enough of my jabbering. On with the show.
